PDFs and Accessibility

Thursday, 10 September 2009

Good points well presented as usual Barry. I agree that single source to multiple versions is a key strategic issue for many organisations and that accessibility is only the tip of the iceberg. I think we are already in a position to advise clients of this and how to achieve it to some extent at least. As you say, we're not completely there yetwith the technologies and processes but we are some of the way and a lot of organisations could make a more effective and efficient job at information publishing right now, simply by getting their MS Word authoring to PDF/HTML output better planned and executed.
