WAI Protocols & Formats working group

Joshue O'Connor of CFIT is a member of the Protocols and Formats Working Group of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
TV Access coalition

In collaboration with the Disability Federation of Ireland, CFIT founded TV Access, a major coalition of organisations from across the disability, ageing and poverty sectors, concerned about access to television for older people and people with disabilities in the digital age, particularly after the analogue switch-off in 2012.
HTML 5 working group
Joshue O'Connor of CFIT is a member of the HTML 5 working group of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
ComReg forum

Mark Magennis of CFIT sits on the ComReg Forum on Communications Services for People with Disabilities as a representative of the Disability Federation of Ireland.
EC Mandate M376

Mark Magennis of CFIT is involved as a representative of ANEC in the European Mandate M/376 work on supporting accessibility requirements in the public procurement of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
IIA User Experience working group

The Irish Internet Association's User Experience Working Group comprises experts and practitioners from the areas of usability, accessibility and web design.
