Directions

NCBI Head Office is 2 miles north of the city centre on Whitworth Road. Whitworth Road runs along the Royal Canal between Drumcondra Road and Phibsboro Road. NCBI is half way along Whitworth Road, surrounded by large trees and fronted by blue railings.

Travelling by Car

There is visitor parking and disabled person's parking spaces outside the building.

Travelling by Train

Drumcondra station is on the DART. Coming out of Drumcondra station take a right. At the traffic lights turn right on to Whitworth Road.

Travelling by Bus

The following buses stop on Whitworth Road:

13, 13A – Merrion Square to Harristown (Ballymun Road)
40, 40A, 40B, 40C – Parnell Street to Finglas

The following buses stop at Drumcondra train station (turn left when exiting the bus, take the first turn right onto Whitworth Road):

3 – Larkhill (Whitehall) to Belfield (UCD)
11, 11A – Wadelai Park to Kilmacud
16 – Santry to Ballinteer
16A – Dublin Airport to Lower Rathfarnham
33 – Lower Abbey Street to Balbriggan
41, 41A, 41B, 41C – Lower Abbey Street to Swords
51A – Lower Abbey Street to Beaumont Hospital
746 – Dun Laoghaire to Dublin Airport
